Nina’s refuge is located in the university area of Città Studi in Milan and her 250m ² home to an eclectic atmosphere and a huge amount of books. Here, one can understand the privacy of the creator owner of Nilufar (« lotus flower » in her mother tongue), a design gallery, one of the most important in Europe. The walls and ceilings frescoed metaphysical style create a fusion between oriental spirit and architecture of the typical Milanese building dated 1940s.

«Nous avons décidé de commencer à y mettre seulement des meubles que nous aimons, notre maison est à peine meublée en ce moment. La table à manger a été l’un de nos premiers achats pour ce nouvel espace », déclare Jean-Paul » Et, mon préféré est le fauteuil italien Poltrona Frau», ajoute Lauren, en passant une main affectueuse sur son siège en cuir.
A design house in Cap Town
In Cape Town, Sea Point, casual design makes the connection between inside and outside in the house Jean-Paul and Lauren.
‘We decided to start collecting only furniture we love, so our home is a little sparsely furnished right now. En contraste avec l’extérieur, l’intérieur de la maison est d’un blanc brillant. Les canapés dans le salon permettre à chacun de profiter de la vue. L’extérieur est recouvert de mosaïques noires, qui scintillent au soleil et donnent à la maison une touche de glamour.

In contrast to the exterior, the inside of the house is white and bright. The sofas in the living room allow everyone to enjoy the views. The exterior is clad in black mosaics, which glitter in the sunshine and give the house a touch of glamour.

C’est dans le quartier du Prato à Milan que la propriétaire a confié à Sabrina Bignami, le chantier de réhabilitation de son appartement de 80 m² sombre et exigu. Tous les murs ont été peints dans un blanc éclatant et uniforme tandis que le sol a reçu une résine. On a obtenu un espace entièrement blanc, à l’exception des plafonds en bois, restaurées dans leur état d’origine.
Vintage interior in Milan
It is in the district of Prato in Milan that the owner told Sabrina Bignami, the renovation of her dark and cramped apartment of 80 m² . All the walls were painted in bright and uniform white while the ground has received a resin. The result is a space entirely white, except wood ceilings, restored to their original state.
