Stora Timrarön est la plus grande île de  l'archipel de Stockholm et se trouve à environ une heure de bateau de la capitale suédoise. Constituée principalement de granit rouge intense, c'est une île petite où l'on trouve essentiellement des maisons de vacances. Celle ci a été dessinée par l'architecte Thomas Sandell. Elle s'inscrit sur le terrain en pente et le design minimaliste l'intègre parfaitement dans le paysage sauvage qui l'environne.

Stora Timrarön is the largest island in the Stockholm archipelago and is about an hour by boat from the Swedish capital. Consisting mainly of intense red granite, is a small island where there are mainly holiday homes. This one was designed by architect Thomas Sandell. It enrolled on the slope and the minimalist design integrates it perfectly into the wild landscape that surrounds.
