Un des avantages d’avoir une soeur architecte d’intérieur, c’est que si vous l’invitez à déjeuner, elle  peut décider de refaire votre maison entière, gratuitement. Du moins, c’est ce qui est arrivé à Lisa. Quand elle,  son mari Phil , et leurs deux enfants ont emménagé dans leur maison du Connecticut, le terne  intérieur respirait les années 70. Bien que Lisa n’ai jamais aimé  cette décoration elle admet qu’elle aurait passé des années à ” s’embrouiller lentement l’esprit. Je peux voir une image dans un magazine ou un catalogue et savoir ce que je veux, mais je trouve qu’il est difficile de faire face à une toile blanche”.

One of the perks of having an interior designer for a sister is that if you invite her over for lunch, she just may decide to redo your entire home, gratis. At least that’s what happened to Lisa. When she, husband Phil, and their two children moved into their Connecticut house, the drab interiors practically reeked of the 1970s. Though Lisa didn’t love the way it looked, she admits she would’ve spent years “slowly muddling along. I can see a picture in a magazine or catalog and know what I like, but I find it difficult to deal with a blank canvas.”
