Tout feu, tout flamme le Slimfocus!

Plus de 7 millions de ménages en France se chauffent au bois, et 80% des habitats du nord de l'Europe avec des cheminées à gaz. Les nouvelles normes , en terme de pollution et d'émissions de particules obligent désormais dès à présent à Paris et en Ile de France, à posséder un foyer fermé pour les nouvelles installations, et c'est dans ce contexte (un jour national?) que Focus, la prestigieuse marque 100% française (études et fabrication) choisie par tant d'architectes à travers le monde et son designer Dominique Imbert (créateur du premier foyer métallique suspendu au monde dès 1967 et lauréat de nombreux prix dont celui du "plus bel objet du monde" décerné par Pulchra pour le modèle phare Gyrofocus), ont créé le Slimfocus, un foyer au design épuré, accueilli avec enthousiasme à Progetto Fuoco, le mondial de la cheminée à Vérone en février dernier. De nombreuses demandes de contact chez Focus ont suivi les différentes présentations du prototype dans les salons ouverts aux professionnels et au public, et les amateurs attendaient avec impatience sa mise au catalogue de la marque. C'est effectif depuis le mois de septembre.
Pour moi, les deux qualificatifs qui résument ce nouveau modèle sont : éco-responsabilité et pureté du design. L'entreprise et son créateur le définissent ainsi : "Il est l'aboutissement d'une recherche de fluidité esthétique, d'encombrement minimum et de performances thermiques exceptionnelles." (rappelons qu'il s'agit d'un modèle à hautes performances énergétiques et que son installation ouvre le droit au crédit d'impôt en France).
Disponible dés à présent en version traditionnelle suspendue et fixe (afin de répondre à des implantations en angle ou proches d'un mur), il sera, dés 2015, proposé en versions à double flux (pour maisons BBC), pivotante (pour centre de pièce), sur pied et à gaz. De quoi satisfaire toutes les exigences que ce soit en terme d'esthétique, d'écologie, et de choix de combustible. Le feu a changé. Définitivement. Alors merci, quel bonheur!

The new standards in terms of pollution and particulate emissions now oblige in Paris and Ile de France area to have a closed fireplace for new installations, and it's in this context (national in the future?) that Focus, the 100% French prestigious brand (studies and manufacturing) chosen by so many architects worldwide, and its designer Dominique Imbert ( first metal hanging fireplace creator in the world in 1967 and winner of numerous awards including "more beautiful object in the world "Pulchra one, for the flagship model Gyrofocus), created the Slimofocus, a clean design fireplace, enthusiastically welcomed in Progetto Fuoco Fireplace international show of Verona in last February. Focus has received a lot of contact requests following the presentations of the prototype in the different shows open to professionals and public, and lovers eagerly awaiting its publication in the brand catalog. This is effective from September.
For me, the two adjectives that sum up this new model are: environmental responsibility and design purity. The company and its creator defined it as follows:. "It is the sleek result of a quest for aesthetic fluidity, minimum volume and excellent heat performance. "
(remember that this is a model with high energy performance and installation makes it eligible to a tax credit in France).
It is currently available as a suspended, non-pivoting version (for installation in a corner or near a wall). In 2015, it will be available in a version with a balanced flue chimney (for low-energy houses), a pivoting version (for installation in the centre of a room), a version with a base and a gas version. Enough to satisfy all the requirements wether in terms of aesthetics, ecology, and choice of energy. The fire has changed. Definitely. So thank you, what happiness!
