Quoique le coin chambre de ce grand studio soit installé dans une alcôve, on a choisit d'installer une verrière amovible, non fixée au sol ou au mur pour créer une séparation visuelle supplémentaire. C'est un choix à la fois esthétique et pratique, surtout si on se trouve en location. Quoique je n'ai jamais vu en France ce genre de verrière autoportante, il existe dans les grandes surfaces de bricolage des panneaux se fixant entre sol et plafond grâce à un système de vérins, tout à fait abordables. Ils sont plus destinés comme ici à créer un évènement décoratif qu'à avoir une réelle utilité phonique ou de fermeture. Mais dans un espace un peu trop banal, ils apportent un supplément de charme bienvenu.

Although the bedroom area of this large studio is installed in an alcove, a removable glazed partition, not fixed to the floor or on the wall, has been chosen to create an additional visual separation. It's a choice both aesthetic and practical, especially if you are renting. Although I have never seen this kind of self-supporting partition in France, there are panels in DIY Stores,that are fixed between floor and ceiling thanks to an affordable system of jacks. They are more intended as here to create a decorative event than to have a real phonic or closing utility. But in a space a little too commonplace, they bring a supplement of welcoming charm.
