Renovation of a historic house in contemporary style
Entirely renovated in contemporary style ten years ago, this historic house, presented by Espaces Atypiques in Tours, was successively the gallery of sculptor Davidson and a theatre, and is articulated around the paved inner courtyard, and has an annex on three levels. The entrance to the house is through the kitchen, the former theatre's dress circle. Elegant and ingenious, the room is open to the living room and remains independent thanks to the glass roof and beams that separate it from the living room. The steel beams blend with the period beams to form an original and refined combination.
