To observe the stars, you have to be far from city lights. This is what Villa Kuro offers you, in the desert at Joshua Tree. This contemporary design house, built in 1962, was recently renovated by its owners, a Los Angeles couple who wanted to create a refuge sanctuary with a minimalist design using a mix of natural materials and contemporary luxury. The palette used is neutral, made of soft whites, creams and browns, and a concrete floor. All these elements are combined with exposed beams, basketry and carpets.
