La rénovation d'une ferme ancienne dans le Kent

Kingshill Farmhouse se trouve sur l”île anglaise de Sheppey dans le Kent. Bénéficiant d’une rénovation profonde, elle est constituée de deux bâtiments soigneusement greffés l’un à l’autre. Le premier de l’époque géorgienne en brique rouge datant de 1757, a été agrandi pour créer une cuisine/salle à manger très lumineuse, et l’autre est un bâtiment de l’époque victorienne, construit en 1840 avec de hauts plafonds. La décoration est campagnarde et typiquement britannique avec ses belles couleurs et ses textiles recherchés. Grâce à son emplacement au milieu d’une réserve naturelle nationale , elle permet de profiter des paysages sauvages, et de la faune locale.

Renovation of an old farmhouse in Kent

Kingshill Farmhouse is located on the English island of Sheppey in Kent. The farmhouse has been extensively renovated and consists of two buildings carefully grafted together. The first is a red brick Georgian building dating from 1757, extended to create a bright kitchen/dining room, and the other is a Victorian building, built in 1840 with high ceilings. The decor is country and typically British with its beautiful colours and fine textiles. With its location in the middle of a national nature reserve, it is a great place to enjoy the wilderness and local wildlife.
