Design in light wood for a London loft
This 71m² loft is located in the former Button Factory in London. This large Victorian structure has been renovated over the past year by Fentiman Design and Orsinibrewin Architects, using cross-laminated timber, black corrugated steel and polished concrete. The large industrial proportions of the original factory building have been preserved with its large industrial windows and features on the street façade. The asymmetrical black corrugated metal roof provides a striking contrast to the more earthy tones of the factory's brickwork below. The interior design is defined by large sections of cross-laminated timber on the walls and ceilings, and polished concrete on the floor.
