Photo : Frederik Boukari
The art of using colour to decorate a small apartment
We are often afraid to use colour in decoration, even more so for a small apartment, especially on the walls. This Swedish two bedroom apartment in a building dating from 1920, proves to us with pictures that a different choice to white can be made. And even though it is only 62m², a classic surface for a two-bedroom apartment (thanks to the separation of the large bedroom into two parts), people refused to let the spaces immaculate. A pink tending towards brown was mainly chosen for the walls, blending perfectly with the warmth of a yellow sofa and vintage Scandinavian furniture. The whole is full of personality, and gives the impression of being in a welcoming cocoon. Photo: Frederik Boukari
