A Melbourne, c’est l’architecte Clare Cousins qui a pris en charge la rénovation d’un appartement familial de 75m² à l’aménagement inspiré par les micro-appartements du Japon. Une chambre cabine a été créée pour accueillir l’espace des parents, ainsi que la chambre d’enfant à l’arrière, avec comme principe de pouvoir loger uniquement le lit. Ainsi un maximum d’espace est réservé à la partie jour. Le bois clair est omniprésent et permet de créer les cloisons et cette boîte astucieuse.

In Melbourne, the architect Clare Cousins took charge of the renovation of a 75m² family apartment with a layout inspired by Japanese micro apartments. A cabin bedroom was created to accommodate the parents’ space, as well as the children’s bedroom at the back, with the principle of being able to accommodate only the bed. Thus a maximum amount of space is reserved for the living space . The light wood is omnipresent and allows to create the partitions and this clever box.
