Conçue par le cabinet d’architecte new-yorkais Jacobschang Architecture , cette cabane design de 33m², le projet Half-Treehouse,  est  hors réseau et est entourée d’une forêt dans le comté de Sullivan, dans l’État de New York.

Grâce aux propriétaires qui ont construit eux-mêmes une grande partie de la structure, son coût de revient a été de moins de 20.000€, ce qui souligne assez bien l’avantage a entreprendre une auto-construction, et de se relever les manches ! Une grande partie des matériaux extérieurs et intérieurs  ont été découpés sur la propriété elle-même. L’intérieur est minimaliste et laisse l’oeil se concentrer sur la beauté de l’environnement, il n’est pas besoin d’en faire plus. C’est une mini maison plutôt destinée à ceux qui cherchent à s’évader d’un quotidien trop actif. Un espace cuisine restreint, un simple lit posé à même le sol, mais très confortable, et vous voici en pleine connexion avec la nature.

This 33m2 design hut was built for less than 20.000 €

Designed by the New York architectural firm Jacobschang Architecture, this 33m² design cabin, the Half-Treehouse project, is off-grid and surrounded by a forest in Sullivan County, New York.

Thanks to the owners who built a large part of the structure themselves, its cost was less than 20.000€, which underlines quite well the advantage to undertake a self-construction, and to roll up one’s sleeves! A large part of the exterior and interior materials were cut on the property itself. The interior is minimalist and allows the eye to focus on the beauty of the surroundings, there is no need to do more. It is a mini home for those who are looking to escape from an overly busy life. A small kitchen area, a simple bed on the floor, but very comfortable, and you are in full connection with nature.
