On s’attend souvent à ce que l’intérieur d’une personne de plus de 70 ans ressemble à un endroit où mobilier ancien, petits napperons et papiers-peints fleuris règnent en maître. Dans l’appartement de cette mère et grand-mère de 74 ans, ce n’est pas le cas. Elle voulait se rapprocher de son fils et de son petit-fils et a acheté cet appartement à Barcelone, où elle a demandé à l’architecte Alfonso de Argila de Chopitea après avoir vu son travail et la décoratrice d’intérieur et distributrice de Renova, Mercedes Pérez, de lui réaliser un intérieur contemporain correspondant à ses attentes. Mission réussie !
Contemporary flat for a grandmother
The interior of a person over 70 years old is often expected to look like a place where antique furniture, small doilies and flowery wallpapers reign supreme. In the flat of this 74-year-old mother and grandmother, this is not the case. She wanted to be closer to her son and grandson and bought this flat in Barcelona, where she asked the architect Alfonso de Argila de Chopitea after seeing his work and the interior designer and distributor of Renova, Mercedes Pérez, to create a contemporary interior for her that would meet her expectations.
