Comme il lui était impossible de trouver la maison de ses rêves dans cette région du pays, il s’est résolu à la faire construire après avoir trouvé un terrain bien placé. Le terrain étant irrégulier, il en a joué et la maison sur plusieurs niveaux profite d’une vue magnifique sur le paysage depuis sa terrasse supérieure. La décoration simple fait appel aux matériaux locaux, et est parfaite pour une maison de vacances, où l’on passe la plupart de son temps à l’extérieur, près de la piscine sous l’ombre bienfaisante des canisses.
