Authentic loft in London with vintage decoration

Located in a former brick warehouse in London, this authentic loft with vintage decor has been fitted out in such a way as to highlight its original features. Bricks, steel columns, beams and solid wood flooring evoke the industrial days of the building, which was constructed in 1850 and has a distinctive facade lit by Crittall windows.

The owner, who bought it as an empty shell to transform, asked the architects to turn it into a real family flat with an open-plan fitted kitchen and bedrooms to the rear. The vintage decor of this authentic loft is in keeping with its period of construction and is warm and welcoming, with its deep sofas, antique and more contemporary furniture, and the modernity of its kitchen. It is easy to imagine a family living there, in a serene atmosphere but in a lively and dynamic neighbourhood.
