Une maison à Majorque rénovée par un designer d'intérieur
Cette maison à Majorque a été rénovée par le designer d'intérieur Damián Sánchez, qui a su marier ses murs anciens avec une décoration actuelle et des oeuvres d'art contemporaines. Il s'est associé dans cette belle aventure avec l'architecte Pep Ramón qui a su apporter son professionnalisme à ce projet. C'est en pleine campagne à deux kilomètres du village le plus proche, Llubí, que se trouvait cette maison à rénover abandonnée depuis des années.
Ce respect du bâtiment et de l'environnement ont été au coeur de la rénovation qui a été dotée du confort contemporain afin de pouvoir y vivre à l'année. Le constructeur local Damián Bergas, de l'entreprise Bergas y Talaiot, qui connaît bien l'architecture typique de l'île, a également participé à ce chantier en apportant son expertise. Les différents professionnels ont eu à coeur de préserver au maximum les éléments et matériaux d'origine de cette maison à rénover. Les boiseries gris foncé et turquoise mat y jouent un rôle important, en harmonie avec les murs en maçonnerie apparente. L'équilibre entre éléments anciens et meubles contemporains est parfaitement réussi, n'est-ce pas?
This house in Mallorca has been renovated by the interior designer Damián Sánchez, who has managed to combine its old walls with modern decoration and contemporary artworks. He joined forces with the architect Pep Ramón, who brought his professionalism to the project. The house, which had been abandoned for years, was located in the middle of the countryside, two kilometres from the nearest village, Llubí.
This respect for the building and the environment was at the heart of the renovation, which was equipped with all the modern comforts to be able to live there all year round. The local builder Damián Bergas, from the company Bergas y Talaiot, who is familiar with the typical architecture of the island, also participated in this project by contributing his expertise. The different professionals were keen to preserve as much as possible of the original elements and materials of the house to be renovated. The dark grey and turquoise woodwork plays an important role, in harmony with the exposed masonry walls. The balance between old elements and contemporary furnishings is perfectly achieved, isn't ?
