47m2 duplex design flat with colourful decoration

We discover this design flat of 47m2 in a duplex, located in a building of Malmö in Sweden. It is located in an old brick industrial building from 1935 and has retained its original high windows, which make it very bright. An oak staircase leads to the second floor where the black walls give the room a dramatic and baroque atmosphere. Under the staircase, the architect who carried out the renovation installed a kitchen that fits perfectly with the design of the stairs.

This 47m2 designer flat is fresh and colourful on the first level, and this will probably suit most of us more than the colour of the bedroom. A yellow sofa adds a dynamic note to the living area, while white was chosen for the other furniture, such as the Knoll chairs with their tulip legs, classics from the 1960s. A curly wool armchair and some cushions on the sofa warm up the atmosphere. And an atypical light fixture illuminates the dining table. All these details make this duplex flat an atypical and attractive place to live, no? (I would certainly repaint the bedroom!)
