La propriétaire du Studio Ezra, l’architecte d’intérieur Georgia Ezra, et son mari Richard, ont acheté et rénové cette maison familiale d’inspiration espagnole à Caufield dans la banlieue de Melbourne en Australie à la taille idéale pour eux. C’est une décoration sous influence méditerranéenne et sud-américaine qu’ils ont choisi, en accord avec l’architecture hispanique d’origine de ce lieu, qui est devenu leur parfaite maison familiale, pour les accueillir avec leurs deux jeunes enfants.
Georgia a bien entendu utilisé de nombreux éléments trouvés dans sa boutique de carrelage Tiles of Ezra, dans toutes les pièces lorsque cela était possible. Si la maison familiale d’inspiration espagnole pourrait se trouver aussi bien à Majorque qu’en Australie, comme ici, on sent également l’influence marocaine avec un choix de tapis et de bois sombre pour le mobilier rappelant les intérieurs raffinés du Maghreb. Cette maison est l’endroit idéal pour montrer le talent de sa propriétaire,et met davantage en valeur ses produits que le plus beau des show-room !
Spanish-inspired family home in Australia
Studio Ezra’s owner, interior designer Georgia Ezra, and her husband Richard, bought and renovated this Spanish-inspired family home in Caufield, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia, to the perfect size for them. They chose a Mediterranean and South American influenced design, in keeping with the original Hispanic architecture of the place, which has become their perfect family home, to accommodate them and their two young children.
Georgia, of course, used many of the elements found in her tile shop Tiles of Ezra in every room where possible. While the Spanish-inspired family home could be found in Majorca as well as Australia, as here, there is also a Moroccan influence with a choice of rugs and dark wood furniture reminiscent of the refined interiors of the Maghreb. This house is the ideal place to show the talent of its owner, and highlights her products more than the most beautiful showroom!
