Perfectly decorated Japandi flat in Sweden

Japandi decoration is a mix between Japanese influences and Scandinavian decoration, and even if it has a certain success here, it is in Sweden and in the other Northern European countries that it seems to be the most legitimate (this is not restrictive of course, just an evidence given the name of this style!) It is thus a flat with the perfect Japandi decoration that we discover in these photos, and it is located in an old building in Gothenburg. The mix is made as often between colours and natural materials, pure and well chosen furniture, without invading the rooms.

The interior design studio Grey Deco was responsible for the Japandi decoration of this flat and it is very elegant, isn't it? The rules to follow are always a bit the same in the choice of colours, here a very soft pale grey that underlines and highlights the beautiful mouldings of the old ceiling, some organic elements such as simple branches in a vase, wood, terracotta, a few touches of black to dynamise these sober tones, and light fittings inspired by Japanese lanterns. A serene ensemble that is undoubtedly successful thanks to this perfect Japandi decoration!
