Un appartement de designer à Madrid inspiré par Rotterdam

Carlos Tomás, fondateur d’Estudio Reciente, a rénové pour lui même et son partenaire, cet appartement à Madrid, en évitant d’utiliser du blanc intégral, et en s’inspirant de la maison Sonneveld à Rotterdam, réalisée par les architectes Leendert Van Der Vlugt et Johannes Brinkman en 1930. Cet appartement de designer ne fait que 65m2 mais est aménagé avec une pièce de réception de 45m2 malgré tout. Il est situé dans un bâtiment construit en 1927 par l’architecte Luis Ferrero, en angle et avec cinq balcons donnant sur la rue.

La couleur très présente, se retrouve dans tous les espaces, y compris dans la cuisine partiellement dissimulée derrière un mur de miroir qui cache la zone de préparation des repas, plaque de cuisson, four et évier, afin de laisser au salon un aspect esthétique. On ajoutera la présence des piliers en acier peints en jaune, un élément osé mais parfait dans ce style. On sent là réellement la patte du professionnel, un appartement de designer ne saurait oublier ces détails qui font toute la différence au quotidien (dois-je ajouter que c’est une idée brillante à retenir?). Designer flat in Madrid inspired by Rotterdam

Carlos Tomás, founder of Estudio Reciente, renovated this flat in Madrid for himself and his partner, avoiding using all white, and taking inspiration from the Sonneveld house in Rotterdam, designed by architects Leendert Van Der Vlugt and Johannes Brinkman in 1930. This designer flat is only 65m2 in size, but is fitted out with a 45m2 reception room. It is located in a building constructed in 1927 by the architect Luis Ferrero, at an angle and with five balconies overlooking the street.

The colour is very present in all the spaces, including the kitchen, which is partially hidden behind a wall of mirrors that hides the food preparation area, hob, oven and sink, in order to give the living room an aesthetic appearance. Another feature is the presence of steel pillars painted yellow, a daring but perfect element in this style. You can really feel the professional’s touch here, a designer flat cannot forget these details that make all the difference in everyday life (need I add that this is a brilliant idea to remember?).
