In London's upmarket Kensington district, this contemporary terrace house was created by Jonathan Woolf Architects in a former artist's studio. It is a spectacular townhouse, with a very high vaulted ceiling and a gable end that allows light to flood into every room. The multi-level wooden terrace is treated as an easy-to-maintain garden courtyard.
The interior is that of an art lover, it is not the furniture that makes the place interesting, even if it is perfectly adapted to the spirit of this contemporary house with terrace. Various works of art are hung on all the walls of the house, making it a personal museum where the eye no longer knows where it should rest, as there are so many visual stimuli. The volumes are well exploited, the house is about 157m2, perfect to have three bedrooms and a large living room. If we had to summarize the visit of this house in a few words, they would be: immense glass wall and works of art.
