Un appartement moderne et élégant rénové par une designer
C'est la designer espagnole Natalia Zubizarreta qui a rénové cet appartement moderne et élégant à la décoration contemporaine en tons sobres. C'est à Bilbao qu'elle a été chargée par les nouveaux propriétaires de réaliser un intérieur conforme à ce que nous aimons aujourd'hui : des espaces ouverts et lumineux, meublés avec des éléments de notre époque, et qui sont faciles à vivre. Le couple qui réside à New York, souhaitait avoir un pied-à-terre dans cette belle ville, dont ils sont originaires. Il est destiné à l'avenir à devenir leur résidence principale lorsqu'ils rentreront en Europe.
Les cloisons ont été abattues lorsque cela a été possible, afin de rendre la circulation plus fluide entre les différentes zones, et ne pas perdre de place avec des couloirs. Les propriétaires ont l'habitude des espaces ouverts que l'on trouve fréquemment aux USA. La rénovation s'est particulièrement concentrée sur la zone cuisine - bureau - salon et salle à manger qui s'interconnectent dans la même pièce. La grande luminosité qui provient des fenêtres a permis d'installer des tons un peu sombres à l'intérieur, comme sur les canapés, sans que cela ait une incidence sur l'impression de clarté du salon. The Spanish designer Natalia Zubizarreta has renovated this modern and elegant flat with a contemporary decoration in sober tones. In Bilbao, she was commissioned by the new owners to create an interior that is in line with what we like today: open and bright spaces, furnished with contemporary elements and easy to live in. The couple, who live in New York, wanted to have a pied-à-terre in this beautiful city, where they are originally from. It is destined to become their main residence when they return to Europe.
Where possible, partitions have been removed to make the flow between the different areas more fluid and to avoid wasting space on corridors. The owners are accustomed to the open-plan spaces that are common in the USA. The renovation focused particularly on the kitchen - office - living room and dining room areas, which interconnect in the same room. The great luminosity that comes from the windows has allowed the installation of slightly dark tones in the interior, such as on the sofas, without affecting the impression of clarity in the living room.
