Papillon est une mini maison en bois de 30m2 compacte et écologique. Novatrice, elle est parfaitement aménagée pour accueillir quatre personnes dans des volumes étudiés de manière à être très lumineux grâce à ses onze fenêtres. Elle présente une architecture à toit plat, et comporte à l'intérieur d'un premier niveau de 17m2 comprenant une pièce de vie de plus de 12m2 ainsi que d’une salle de bain de 4,2 m2. Papillon is a small wooden house of 30m2, compact and ecological. Innovative, it is perfectly fitted out to accommodate four people in volumes designed to be very bright thanks to its eleven windows. It has a flat roof architecture, and comprises a first level of 17m2 including a living room of more than 12m2 as well as a bathroom of 4.2 m². On the first floor, a mezzanine of 10m2 allows to install a comfortable bedroom. The surface area means that planning permission is not required. In France, a preliminary declaration of works will still be necessary.
For its structure, its manufacturer Quadrapol has chosen FSC and PEFC certified spruce, a material that has many advantages. It offers natural protection and is highly resistant to external attacks: insects, fungi, weather. Thanks to good insulation with wood wool, energy consumption is reduced.
