Découvrons ici ce projet réalisé dans une grande pièce de vie avec un insert très simple, un simple trou à feu dans une structure géométrique. Faite de contreplaqué peuplier, cette bibliothèque sur mesure va du sol au plafond dans ce salon confortable et moderne. Pour protéger le bois, un verni mat a été appliqué. Le socle sert d'étagère basse et se transforme en banquette près de l'insert, pour devenir un coin lecture où se lover même en plein hiver, devant la fenêtre.
La structure est assez profonde pour accueillir livres et objets, mais son épaisseur n'empiète toutefois pas sur le volume de la pièce. L' ambiance est épurée, mais cosy. Les murs enduits à la chaux mate, le bois omniprésent qu'il s'agisse de la bibliothèque ou du parquet en chêne, le béton ciré coloris sable posé devant l'insert pour protéger le sol, donnent une impression de douceur et de modernité réussie. L' atmosphère de la pièce est harmonieuse et sereine, et invite au repos et à la lecture devant la cheminée.

The base serves as a low shelf and turns into a bench near the fireplace, to become a reading corner where you can curl up in front of the window in the middle of winter.
The structure is deep enough to accommodate books and objects, but its thickness does not encroach on the volume of the room. The atmosphere is uncluttered, but cosy. The matt lime plastered walls, the omnipresent wood in the bookcase and the oak parquet floor, the sand-coloured waxed concrete in front of the insert to protect the floor, give an impression of softness and successful modernity. The atmosphere of the room is harmonious and serene, and invites you to rest and read in front of the fireplace.
Et si pour sortir cette pièce de ce beige, certes beau mais peut-être un peu trop ton sur ton, on ajoutait un mur vert? N'est-ce pas une excellente idée?
