Une maison rustique slow life dans un ancien bâtiment agricole

Cette maison rustique slow life était un ancien bâtiment agricole, une grange construite dans les années 1940 dans la région de l’Empordà en Espagne. Sa propriétaire, Emma a mené sa rénovation en collaboration avec Quintana Partners. L’aide de ces professionnels a été d’autant plus précieuse, que son fils Benito est associé dans cette entreprise avec Pol Castells, architecte comme lui. Elle a été meublée d’éléments anciens et de mobilier plus moderne, mais toujours en accord avec l’âme de la maison. L’intérieur est un hommage à la vie paysanne, mais dans un style très confortable.

Ce projet familial, appelé Can Casi House, est parti sur une base plutôt en bon état, déjà rénovée par les précédents propriétaires, et a consisté plutôt en une refonte de la décoration intérieure, avec un changement de matériaux pour les finitions et les peintures. Rustic slow life house in a former farm building

This rustic slow life house was a former farm building, a barn built in the 1940s in the Empordà region of Spain. Its owner, Emma, carried out the renovation in collaboration with Quintana Partners. The help of these professionals was all the more valuable as her son Benito is a partner in this venture with Pol Castells, an architect like himself. It has been furnished with old elements and more modern furniture, but always in keeping with the soul of the house. The interior is a tribute to country life, but in a very comfortable style.

This family project, called Can Casi House, started from a rather good base, already renovated by the previous owners, and consisted rather of a redesign of the interior decor, with a change of materials for the finishes and paintings.
