Cette maison secondaire pour les vacances sur la côte espagnole, en Cantabria a été réinventée par la designer Natalia Zubizarreta pour une famille avec deux enfants. Si au départ, les propriétaires ne souhaitaient que lui apporter qu’un simple relooking, ils ont fini par vouloir tout changer. Le blanc est la base de la décoration, mélangé avec du bois et du vert, pour une atmosphère fraiche et naturelle. Comme il s’agit d’une maison secondaire pour les vacances, l’intérêt se porte naturellement sur l’extérieur, et la vue sur la mer.

Sans être immenses, les espaces sont confortables, qu’il s’agisse de la cuisine, du salon avec la salle à manger, et des chambres. La partie mansardée est pleine de charme, et a permis d’installer un espace bureau très pratique. Et même s’il s’agit d’une maison mitoyenne, qui n’aurait pas envie d’avoir la même pour s’échapper de la ville à la première occasion pour se rendre au bord de la mer?  Photo : Felipe Scheffel. Holiday cottage on the Spanish coast

This holiday cottage on the Spanish coast in Cantabria has been reinvented by designer Natalia Zubizarreta for a family with two children. Although the owners initially wanted to give it a simple makeover, they ended up wanting to change everything. White is the basis of the decor, mixed with wood and green, for a fresh and natural atmosphere. As this is a holiday home, the focus is naturally on the exterior, and the view of the sea.

Without being huge, the spaces are comfortable, whether it is the kitchen, the living room with the dining room, and the bedrooms. The attic is full of charm, and has made it possible to install a very practical office space.
