Ils ont choisi de réaliser un appartement dans ce qui était autrefois le second niveau de la grange. Amanda Richardson à la tête de Madu Interiors, a voulu maximiser la lumière dans cet espace sous les toits. La décoration est contemporaine et confortable, parfaite pour vivre sans contraintes. La maison appartient à sa famille depuis des générations, et deviendra la résidence principale de son couple dans les années à venir. Renovated barn flat with stylish decor

In Canada, where they regularly live with Germany, designer Amanda Richardson and her partner have realised their dream of having a renovated flat in a barn, a family property, when they are not living there. Of course, the details have been taken care of, as this is not just a house for financial investment, but a real living space that they occupy regularly.

They chose to create a flat in what was once the second floor of the barn. Amanda Richardson, head of Madu Interiors, wanted to maximise the light in this under-roof space. The decor is contemporary and comfortable, perfect for relaxed living. The house has been in her family for generations, and will become her couple’s main residence in the years to come. And this renovated barn flat will then be home to the children on holiday after hosting guests.
