Nous découvrons ici la maison rustique au charme victorien de l'architecte d'intérieur Claire Zinnecker. Cette décoratrice a sauvé cette maison du 19e siècle, et l'a transformée en une belle maison familiale. Cette maison a conservé son aspect traditionnel, même si elle a été profondément modernisée, avec par exemple l'installation d'un chauffage hybride performant et économique du fabriquant nord-américain Trane. Un équipement qu'auraient apprécié sans aucun doute les premiers propriétaires, Gus et Ida Anderson, des immigrants venus depuis la Suède et qui l'avaient fait bâtir en 1898.

La maison était à l'époque construite dans la capitale du Texas, dans la ville d'Austin. Et détail (qui n'en ai pas un...) l'architecte d'intérieur a décidé de la faire transporter dans la ville de Georgetown, à quelques kilomètres de la grande ville, mais plus au calme. La rénovation de cette maison rustique au charme victorien a été effectuée par la suite, et quel résultat, n'est-ce pas? La maison d'environ 160m2 a été entièrement repensée, passant de deux chambres et une salle de bain à trois chambres et deux salles de bain, sans agrandissement, et est devenu la maison familiale idéale pour la famille. Rustic house with Victorian charm from the 19th century

Here we discover the rustic house with Victorian charm of interior designer Claire Zinnecker. This decorator saved this 19th century house and transformed it into a beautiful family home. The house has retained its traditional appearance, even though it has been thoroughly modernised, for example by installing an efficient and economical dual fuel heating system from the North American manufacturer Trane. This equipment would have been appreciated by the original owners, immigrants from Sweden, who had it built in 1898.

The house was then built in the capital of Texas, in the city of Austin. And a detail (which is not one...) the interior designer decided to have it moved to the town of Georgetown, a few miles from the big city, but more quiet. The renovation of this rustic house with Victorian charm was carried out afterwards, and what a result, isn't it? The house of about 160m2 was completely redesigned from two bedrooms and one bathroom to three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with no extension, and became the perfect family home.
