Cet appartement ouvert sur la mer se trouve dans le golfe de Gascogne à Santander. Sa propriétaire a confié à la designer Natalia Zubizarreta, le soin de rénover sa surface de 100m2, afin de profiter au mieux des vues magnifiques depuis toutes les fenêtres. Celles-ci ont été agrandies, afin d’offrir un spectacle sur le panorama, qui a lui seul justifie la rénovation de cet appartement qui provient d’un héritage familial.

En effet, la propriétaire a reçu en cadeau cet appartement ouvert sur la mer de sa mère et sa grand-mère. Mais il était sombre et compartimenté. En abattant les cloisons inutiles, apportant du blanc et des matériaux naturels, la designer en a fait un lieu contemporain à l’élégance intemporelle, où la mer est la vedette. Flat open to the sea and renovated by a designer

This flat overlooking the sea is located in the Bay of Biscay in Santander. Its owner entrusted the designer Natalia Zubizarreta with the task of renovating its 100m2 surface area in order to make the most of the magnificent views from all the windows. The windows have been enlarged to offer a panoramic view, which alone justifies the renovation of this flat, which comes from a family heritage.

Indeed, the owner received this flat open to the sea as a gift from her mother and grandmother. But it was dark and compartmentalised. By removing unnecessary partitions, bringing in white and natural materials, the designer has turned it into a contemporary place of timeless elegance, where the sea is the star.
