Si cette maison autrefois sombre est devenue lumineuse, c'est grâce au travail des architectes du studio Oficios Asociados qui lui ont offert de grandes ouvertures sur le jardin. Les larges baies vitrées de style verrière d'atelier, s'ouvrent avec un système de poulie ingénieux, qui permet d'effacer les frontières entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur. La couleur verte sélectionnée pour le mobilier de cuisine rappelle l'environnement désormais verdoyant de cette ancienne maison autrefois vieillotte située en Argentine.
Alors que le terrain où elle est construite est étroit, puisqu'il ne fait que 8,5 mètres de large, la maison ne semble jamais petite, grâce en particulier à la vision de l'extérieur depuis ses murs vitrés en façade sur le jardin. En partie basse ceux-ci sont traités avec un verre translucide, afin que les éclaboussures de terre ne se voient pas lorsqu'il pleut. La décoration à base de bois et d'acier complète enfin le décor de cette maison autrefois sombre qui a retrouvé une nouvelle vie après l'intervention intelligente des professionnels. This once dark house is now bright thanks to the work of the architects from Oficios Asociados, who have given it large openings to the garden. The large windows, in the style of a workshop window, are opened with an ingenious pulley system, which allows the boundaries between the interior and exterior to be erased. The green colour chosen for the kitchen furniture is a reminder of the green environment of this once old-fashioned house located in Argentina.
Although the plot of land on which it is built is narrow, being only 8.5 metres wide, the house never seems small, particularly thanks to the view of the outside from its glazed walls facing the garden. The lower part of the glass is treated with translucent material, so that dirt splashes cannot be seen when it rains. The wood and steel decor finally completes the decor of this once dark house, which has been given a new lease of life after the skilful intervention of the professionals. Photo: Daniel Karp
