Fabian Low est un Néo-Zélandais qui est né à Singapour et qui vit dans la région d'Aukland. En 2020, il a décidé de construire cette mini maison container de 30m2 pour vivre de façon autonome. Pour cela il a investi à l'époque une somme d'environ 135.000 € après avoir rêvé devant de nombreuses vidéos sur YouTube. Il a engagé Shaye Boddington, un entrepreneur néo-zélandais, pour construire sa maison. Grâce à ce professionnel,  la construction du  gros œuvre n'a pris que deux mois. Mais c'est lui qui a conçu entièrement l'architecture et l'intérieur de la maison.

Il lui a fallu environ trois mois pour que les équipements de sa maison soient prêts à fonctionner, et il a fait de longues recherches sur les équipements pour lui apporter l'eau et l'électricité. La maison est installée sur le terrain d'une ferme, qui est en location, lui-même n'étant propriétaire que de la maison elle-même. En contrepartie de l'accord qu'il a avec le fermier, il s'est occupé d'aménager et d'entretenir le terrain, où il n'y avait autrefois qu'un poulailler. Diplômé en architecture paysagère depuis 2004 et en design urbain depuis 2010, il avait donc les compétences requises pour achever ce projet de mini maison container de 30m2 mûrement réfléchi.

Fabian Low is a New Zealander who was born in Singapore and lives in the Aukland region. In 2020, he decided to construct this 30m2 mini house container to live independently. To do so, he invested about €135,000 after dreaming about it in numerous YouTube videos. He hired Shaye Boddington, a New Zealand contractor, to construct the house. Thanks to this professional, the construction of the shell took only two months. But he designed the entire architecture and interior of the house.

It took him about three months to get the house ready for use, and he spent a lot of time researching the equipment to bring in water and electricity. The house is set up on the land of a farm, which is rented out, with himself owning only the house itself. In return for the agreement he has with the farmer, he has taken care of the landscaping and maintenance of the land, where there used to be only a chicken coop. Having graduated in landscape architecture in 2004 and urban design in 2010, he had the skills to complete this well thought-out 30m2 mini house container project.
