Photo : Jordi Canosa. Natural materials and decor for a flat in Cadaqués

This flat, with its natural materials and decor, is located on the top floor of a building in the charming town of Cadaqués in Catalonia. Famous because Dalí lived there for a long time, and because you can visit a museum dedicated to the surrealist painter, the town is also a popular holiday resort on the Costa Brava, and this flat, located in a 1960s building designed by Tusquets, has as its main asset a terrace with sea views.

This is what immediately appealed to its new owner, interior architect Nuria Selva. She spends her family holidays here, and has adapted the flat to suit her lifestyle. To do this, she has renovated the kitchen and bathrooms, while highlighting characteristic features such as the three original fireplaces. She chose a Mediterranean style with neutral, harmonious tones. Jute, linen, cotton, plants and fibres combine with white to bring the interior of this flat to life with natural materials and decor.
