Cet appartement traversant de 76m2 a été rénové en style design à Bratislava, et a trouvé une seconde jeunesse après l’intervention de Toito Architekti. Le projet EMA réalisé par ces professionnels, est un ancien trois pièces totalement repensé pour un jeune couple dans le centre ville. La double orientation, les fenêtres tant intérieures qu’extérieures permettent une belle circulation de la lumière.

Le salon est positionné vers la rue, et les chambres ainsi que la cuisine sont à l’arrière, au calme. Le style de la décoration est urbain, et utilise le bois ainsi que des couleurs sobres. Le bois alterne avec la brique ancienne, qui sont là depuis la construction du bâtiment. L’ensemble est aéré et harmonieux. Cet appartement traversant de 76m2 autrefois décrépi est désormais un lieu moderne, actuel, et facile à vivre pour ses propriétaires, une jeune famille avec enfants qui a trouvé là l’endroit idéal pour vivre au calme dans une grande ville.

This 76m2 through apartment was renovated in design style in Bratislava, and found a new lease of life after the intervention of Toito Architekti. The EMA project realized by these professionals, is a former two-bedroom apartment totally redesigned for a young couple in the city center. The double orientation, the windows both inside and outside allow a beautiful circulation of light.

The living room is positioned towards the street, and the bedrooms and the kitchen are at the back, in the quiet. The style of the decoration is urban, and uses wood and sober colors. The wood alternates with the old brick, which are there since the construction of the building. The whole is airy and harmonious. This once decrepit 76m2 through apartment is now a modern, current, and easy to live in place for its owners, a young family with children who found there the ideal place to live in a quiet place in a big city.

Aménagement sur mesure pour un petit appartement de 60m2

Ce petit appartement d’à peine 60m2 a reçu un aménagement sur mesure avec sa rénovation menée de main de maître par l’architecte d’intérieur Pia Capdevila. Elle a transformé ce lieu autrefois sombre et étouffant,  mais plein de potentiel, en espace lumineux avec de jolis détails vintages, comme les sols d’origine, soigneusement conservés. Les boiseries ont été peintes en blanc, et les cloisons  abattues dans cet appartement à Barcelone.

La rénovation a été effectuée pour un jeune couple sans enfants, et grâce à l’aménagement sur mesure, ce qui était autrefois un espace cloisonné avec trois pièces, s’est transformé en un appartement plein de charme, où la circulation est fluide. Il ne reste qu’un salon, une cuisine et une chambre unique, mais dans 60m2, c’est une disposition parfaite ! Et la décoration contemporaine et chaleureuse s’associe parfaitement aux sols colorés en carreaux de ciment anciens. Un premier appartement idéal pour démarrer dans la vie, n’est-ce pas?

Tailor-made furnishings for a small flat of 60 m2

This small flat of just 60 m2 was given a bespoke makeover by interior designer Pia Capdevila. She has transformed this once dark and stuffy, but full of potential, space into a bright one with lovely vintage details, such as the original floors, carefully preserved. The woodwork has been painted white and the walls knocked down in this Barcelona flat.

The renovation was carried out for a young couple without children, and thanks to the tailor-made layout, what was once a partitioned space with two bedrooms has been transformed into a charming flat where the circulation is fluid. All that remains is a living room, a kitchen and a single bedroom, but in 60m2 it’s a perfect layout! And the warm, contemporary decor goes perfectly with the colourful old cement tile floors. An ideal first flat to start out in life, isn’t it?

Un appartement argentin rénové et agrandi par des architectes

Cet appartement argentin centenaire a été rénové par les architectes Sofía Calvaresi et Agustina Servide, à la tête d’Estudio Florida. C’est dans un bâtiment des années 1920 situé à Buenos Aires, que ses propriétaires, Jésica et Hernán ont fait appel à elles pour réaliser leur projet. Il s’agissait d’ouvrir les espaces sur la cour, et ainsi récupérer un accès facile à l’extérieur de l’appartement. Les architectes ont entrepris également de l’agrandir, en ajoutant un étage au-dessus de l’existant.

En ce qui concerne la décoration, encouragée par les fenêtres en fer et en verre et le mur de briques anciennes du patio,  la designer et céramiste Karina Contini qui a collaboré à ce projet, a proposé une ambiance de style industriel, moderne et pratique. Les tons sobres et naturels conviennent parfaitement à cette oasis urbaine, idéale pour ses propriétaires après ce long chantier dans cet appartement argentin. Photo : Javier Picerno

Argentinean flat renovated and extended by architects

This century-old Argentinean flat was renovated by architects Sofía Calvaresi and Agustina Servide of Estudio Florida. The owners, Jésica and Hernán, called on them to carry out their project in a 1920s building in Buenos Aires. The aim was to open up the spaces to the courtyard, thus recovering easy access to the outside of the flat. The architects also undertook to extend the apartment, adding a floor above the existing one.

As far as the decor is concerned, encouraged by the iron and glass windows and the old brick wall of the patio, the interior designer Karina Contini, who collaborated on this project, proposed an industrial, modern and practical atmosphere. Une cuisine verte pour un appartement rénové inspiré par la campagne

La designer Milagros López del Carril a été inspirée par la vie qu’elle a mené à la campagne pendant son enfance lorsqu’elle a rénové l’appartement où elle vit avec ses enfants. Son choix s’est porté sur une décoration douce, parfaite pour se ressourcer lorsqu’on habite dans une grande ville comme Buenos Aires en Argentine. Dans ce cas, la cuisine verte pour un appartement rénové en style bucolique est certainement un choix judicieux pour évoquer cette vie plus près de la nature.

Le reste de la décoration est dans des tons plus neutres, où le blanc apporte beaucoup de lumière. Car lorsque l’on choisit une cuisine verte pour un appartement ou une maison, il est un peu plus délicat ensuite d’apporter d’autres couleurs, c’est donc un choix à manier avec précaution, quand comme ici, la pièce n’est pas totalement fermée, et que l’on voit ce vert depuis le salon. Green kitchen for a renovated flat inspired by the countryside

Designer Milagros López del Carril was inspired by her childhood life in the countryside when she renovated the flat where she lives with her children. Her choice was for a soft decor, perfect for recharging one’s batteries when living in a big city like Buenos Aires, Argentina. In this case, the green kitchen for a flat renovated in bucolic style is certainly a wise choice to evoke this life closer to nature.

The rest of the decor is in more neutral tones, where white brings a lot of light. Because when you choose a green kitchen for a flat or a house, it is a little more delicate to bring in other colours afterwards, so it is a choice to be handled with care, when, as here, the room is not totally closed, and you can see this green from the living room. Un appartement rénové à Florence dans un palazzo du 15e siècle

C’est dans le Palazzo dei Girolami, datant du 15e siècle, proche du Ponte Vecchio, que se trouve cet appartement rénové à Florence, la si belle ville de l’ouest de l’Italie. C’est l’architecte et designer Ilaria Miani qui a été chargée de faire revivre cet appartement avec terrasse, alliant l’ancien, le contemporain, aux éléments historiques à conserver. L’élégance naturelle de la décoration se retrouve dans tous les espaces de ce lieu exceptionnel.

Si ce palais florentin a été construit  au 12e siècle, on considère qu’il a pris sa forme définitive au 15e siècle après la rénovation par le marquis Anton Maria Bartolommei, qui a chargé l’architecte Ferdinando Tacca, chef de l’atelier Borgo Pinti de la cour des Médicis, de le redessiner. Sur une base médiévale, la designer a réussi à créer un appartement de notre époque, qui ne trahit pas ses racines historiques tout en l’adaptant à une vie moderne.

Renovated flat in Florence in a 15th century palazzo

The 15th century Palazzo dei Girolami, close to the Ponte Vecchio, is the setting for this renovated flat in Florence, the beautiful city in western Italy. The architect and designer Ilaria Miani has been commissioned to revive this flat with terrace, combining the old, the contemporary, with the historic elements to be preserved. The natural elegance of the decor is reflected in all the spaces of this exceptional place.

Although this Florentine palace was constructed in the 12th century, it is considered to have taken on its definitive form in the 15th century after renovation by the Marquis Anton Maria Bartolommei, who commissioned the architect Ferdinando Tacca, head of the Borgo Pinti workshop of the Medici court, to redesign it. On a medieval basis, the designer has succeeded in creating a flat of our time, which does not betray its historical roots while adapting it to modern life.
