Si la maison de Goretti Xurigué sur la Costa Brava, semble ancienne, elle n’a pourtant été construite qu’il y a quelques années. C’est elle qui a décidé de lui donner l’allure d’une grande maison américaine, comme dans les Hamptons, mais elle avoue avoir été inspirée également par les appartements parisiens et les maisons de campagne anglaises. C’est à l’architecte Antoni Carrió i Campanyà, le menuisier Enric Marimon, le forgeron Vicenç Bonamusa et le paysagiste Jaume Vilaseca Canaleta, de Frèsia, qu’elle a confié le soin de réaliser tout ce qu’elle avait en tête, et obtenir la maison dont elle avait toujours rêvé.
Spanish house inspired by the Hamptons style
If the house of Goretti Xurigué on the Costa Brava, seems old, it was built only a few years ago. She decided to make it look like a big American house, like in the Hamptons, but she admits to having been inspired by Parisian apartments and English country houses as well. It was the architect Antoni Carrió i Campanyà, the carpenter Enric Marimon, the blacksmith Vicenç Bonamusa and the landscape gardener Jaume Vilaseca Canaleta, from Frèsia, that she entrusted the task of carrying out everything she had in mind and obtaining the house she had always dreamed of.
