Le choix du noir et blanc en design intérieur semble facile voire primaire. Toutefois, il est ici parfaitement réalisé et justifié. En effet, on trouve dans cet appartement suédois des cheminées anciennes en faïence, des moulures et des stucs, typiques de l’époque de construction du bâtiment. Devant la richesse des éléments d’origine, les véritables vedettes de ce lieu, il était donc indispensable de ne pas adopter une décoration trop originale ou trop colorée. C’est donc le sage design noir et blanc et une touche de bleu sombre de temps à autre, qui ont été choisis, avec du mobilier et des objets iconiques, et c’est parfaitement réussi.
