Décoration Japandi pour un loft design à Los Angeles

La décoration Japandi est celle qui allie style scandinave et influences japonaises, et avec ses bois clairs, ses lignes simples, et l’association avec du noir, elle remporte beaucoup de succès. C’est celle qui a été choisie par le studio de design intérieur OWIU à Los Angeles pour la rénovation de ce loft de 500m² “Biscuit loft” , situé dans un bâtiment industriel rénové construit en 1925, une ancienne biscuiterie.  L’ élément graphique indispensable pour que ce intérieur ne finisse par dans un “beigasse” ennuyeux, est le cadre de fenêtres en acier noir, qui dynamise les tons naturels utilisés pour la décoration. Les suspensions en papier Akari conçus par Isamu Noguchi  se mêlent aux meubles iconiques scandinaves des designers  Alvar Aalto et Hans Wegner, pour donner un allure à la fois moderne et intemporelle à ce loft lumineux.  Photo :  Justin Chung

The Japandi decoration is the one that combines Scandinavian style and Japanese influences, and with its light woods, simple lines, and association with black, it is very successful. It is the one chosen by the interior design studio OWIU in Los Angeles for the renovation of this 500m² “Biscuit loft”. Located in a renovated industrial building built in 1925, a former biscuit factory. The essential graphic element to prevent this interior from ending up in a boring ” only beige”, is the black steel window frame, which enhances the natural tones used for the decoration. The Akari paper suspensions designed by Isamu Noguchi blend with the iconic Scandinavian furniture by designers Alvar Aalto and Hans Wegner to give a modern yet timeless look to this bright loft. Oh Beauty Interiors est un studio de design intérieur spécialisé dans la décoration à Los Angeles. C’est dans cette ville que ces professionnels ont décoré le salon et la salle à manger d’un loft qui a conservé ses poutres en béton et ses murs de briques, afin de lui donner une allure à la fois rustique chic et contemporaine. Mur de fenêtres pour un loft à la décoration industrielle chic à Los Angeles

C’est à Los Angeles que ce loft industriel chic, d’une surface approximative de 67m² est installé dans un immeuble de l’époque  Art Déco des années 1920,  qui abritait alors la Westinghouse Electric Company. Aujourd’hui  transformé en immeuble résidentiel, il a conservé ses grandes fenêtres d’origine qui forment comme un mur dans l’appartement que nous visitons. Les murs en béton, les hauts plafonds, et le parquet en font un lieu authentique et minimaliste à la fois.

It is in Los Angeles that this chic industrial loft, with a surface area of approximately 67m², is installed in a building from the Art Deco era of the 1920s, which was then home to the Westinghouse Electric Company. Ce loft multifonctions au design gris est idéal pour vivre et travailler

The Loft , un espace multifonctions au design gris, est situé dans un bâtiment historique, une ancienne usine de meubles, construit dans les années 1920 et abandonné pendant plusieurs années. Stephen Kenn et son partenaire Beks Opperman adorent voyager et découvrir les différentes façons dont les gens vivent.  Depuis plusieurs années, ils rêvaient d’un espace multifonctions comme celui-ci, où ils pourraient présenter leurs projets, à leurs clients et aux professionnels du design, mais aussi d’entrer en contact avec des voyageurs passionnés de design et le grand public.  Situé dans le quartier des arts de Los Angeles, il fonctionne non seulement comme une salle d’exposition pour le studio et ses partenaires, mais aussi comme un lieu de manifestations et un hôtel.

The Loft, a multifunctional space with a grey design, is located in a historic building, a former furniture factory, dating back to the 1920s and abandoned for several years. Stephen Kenn and his partner Beks Opperman love to travel and discover the different ways people live. For several years, they had dreamed of a multifunctional space like this one, where they could present their projects to their clients and design professionals, but also to get in touch with travellers who are passionate about design and the wider public. Located in the Los Angeles arts district, it functions not only as an exhibition hall for the studio and its partners, but also as an event space and hotel.

Un loft aux couleurs du désert à Los Angeles

Ce loft aux grands volumes a pris place dans un ancien grand magasin de Los Angeles, un magnifique bâtiment construit dans les années 1920 par le cabinet d’architectes Meyer et Holler. Réhabilité en 2002, il accueille depuis un ensemble de logements, dont celui-ci, un bel espace aux couleurs sobres du désert, entre sable, vert doux, et gris du sol en béton.

This high-volume loft is housed in a former Los Angeles department store, a magnificent building built in the 1920s by the architectural firm Meyer and Holler. Renovated in 2002, it has since been home to a series of apartments, including this one, a beautiful space in the sober colours of the desert, between sand, soft green and grey of the concrete floor.
