Un petit appartement agrandi par une mezzanine en style vintage

Le propriétaire de cet appartement s’est adressé à l’architecte Mariana de Delás pour réaliser son rêve : avoir un lieu qui lui rappelait son roman favori, écrit par Italo Calvino “Le baron perché“. L’architecte espagnole a donc pris un charge le projet, baptisé “House for Cosimo Piovasco”, du nom du principal personnage du livre. Ce petit appartement agrandi par une mezzanine, est devenu un lieu chaleureux à l’âme vintage, plein de confort et de couleurs. Il se trouve dans un immeuble datant des années 1940, près du célèbre marché aux puces du Rastro à Madrid.

Son style loft vient en grande partie de son nouvel aménagement. Les cloisons ont été abattues, et ce petit appartement agrandi par une mezzanine a désormais une chambre qui l’a transformé en duplex. Celle-ci se trouvant sous la pente du toit, a des allures de cabane en pleine ville. Le propriétaire a pu exprimer ensuite toute sa personnalité, car c’est un artiste qui dirige une galerie émergente, et bien entendu son lieu de vie ne pouvait pas être totalement neutre et impersonnel. Small flat enlarged by a mezzanine in vintage style

The owner of this flat turned to the architect Mariana de Delás to make her dream come true: to have a place that reminded her of her favourite novel, written by Italo Calvino “The Perched Baron”. The Spanish architect took on the project, which was called “House for Cosimo Piovasco”, named after the main character of the book. This small flat, enlarged by a mezzanine, has become a warm place with a vintage soul, full of comfort and colour. It is located in a building dating from the 1940s, near the famous Rastro flea market in Madrid.

Its loft style comes largely from its new layout. The walls have been knocked down, and this small flat, enlarged by a mezzanine, now has a bedroom that has turned it into a duplex. This room is located under the slope of the roof and looks like a cabin in the city. The owner was then able to express his personality, as he is an artist who runs an emerging gallery, and of course his living space could not be totally neutral and impersonal. Avec sa mezzanine ce mini loft design de 38m2 multiplie les mètres carrés

Habiter dans un appartement de 38m2 et avoir du volume avec une chambre séparée semble pratiquement impossible. C’est pourtant l’exploit réalisé ici dans cet appartement dont la grande hauteur a permis l’installation d’un coin nuit sur une mezzanine de 12m² au plafond bas. Jamais le manque d’espace ne se fait sentir grâce aux volumes ouverts, aux grandes fenêtres donnant un maximum de luminosité héritées du passé industriel de ce bâtiment suédois, et à la décoration sobre et design.

Living in a 38m2 flat and having volume with a separate bedroom seems almost impossible. However, this is the feat achieved here in this flat whose great height has allowed the installation of a sleeping area on a 12m² mezzanine with a low ceiling. The lack of space is never felt thanks to the open volumes, the large windows giving a maximum of luminosity inherited from the industrial past of this Swedish building, and the sober and design decoration.

Un rêve d’appartement contemporain avec mezzanine

La récupération du volume dans les combles de cet appartement a permis de l’agrandir par le haut, et d’installer un volume qui peut servir de bureau, d’endroit pour s’isoler, ou bien encore de chambre d’appoint, un endroit de rêve pour la plupart d’entre nous. La grande luminosité est augmentée encore par les fenêtres de toit qui apportent la lumière zénithale. La décoration contemporaine est sobre et permet à chacun de s’imaginer vivre là.

The recuperation of volume in the attic of this apartment has allowed to enlarge it from the top, and to install a volume that can be used as an office, a place to isolate oneself, or even as an extra bedroom, a dream place for most of us. The great luminosity is further increased by the roof windows that provide zenithal light. The contemporary decoration is sober and allows everyone to imagine living there.

Installer un coin télé sur une mezzanine

Dans un appartement ancien tel que celui-ci présenté par Espaces Atypiques, le salon est réservé à la partie réception, et pour installer la télé et les différents loisirs des propriétaires, c’est une mezzanine créée en profitant de la hauteur sous plafond qui a été choisie. Ainsi, au premier niveau, l’espace reste zen et sobre, et les belles prestations d’origine, comme les murs de pierres ou les poutres prennent toute leur valeur, sans être contrariée par une technologie moins esthétique.

In an old apartment such as this one presented by Espaces Atypiques, the living room is reserved for the reception area, and to install the TV and the various leisure activities of the owners, it is a mezzanine created by taking advantage of the height under the ceiling that has been chosen. Ce lumineux appartement présente de jolis éléments d’origine, comme les hautes fenêtres laissant la lumière entrer à flot, mais également une belle hauteur sous plafond qui a permis d’installer une mezzanine au dessus de la cuisine et sur le côté du salon. Même si elle est basse de plafond, elle offre toutefois la possibilité d’avoir des chambres supplémentaires pour les amis de passage.
