The Scenic Orchard (le verger pittoresque), a été conçu et construit par deux jeunes entrepreneurs nord-américains, un frère et une soeur à partir d’un module installé au milieu des champs à Barneveld (Foothills of The Adirondacks), dans l’Etat de New York. Elle se caractérise par son grand confort, avec une cheminée extérieure et un jacuzzi.
Avec ses vues imprenables, cette maison profite de la beauté d’un paysage naturel, que l’on se trouve à l’intérieur ou à l’extérieur. Les couchers de soleil fabuleux s’admirent même à la saison la plus froide, lorsque la maison se trouve dans la neige, et que l’environnement se fait magique. Son aspect extérieur a conservé les traces de sa vie passée, celle d’un container maritime qui a bourlingué sur toutes les mers du globe, et qui désormais a une autre vie beaucoup plus calme et plus verte !
All-weather container house with a glass façade
This all-weather container house has a largely glazed facade, but reinforced insulation and underfloor heating. The Scenic Orchard was designed and built by two young North American entrepreneurs, a brother and sister, from a module in the middle of the fields in Barneveld (Foothills of The Adirondacks), New York. It features great comfort, with an outdoor fireplace and a hot tub.
With its breathtaking views, this home enjoys the beauty of a natural landscape, whether you are inside or outside. The fabulous sunsets can be enjoyed even in the coldest season, when the house is in the snow, and the environment is magical. The exterior of the house has retained the traces of its past life, that of a maritime container that has sailed all over the world, and which now has a much calmer and greener life!
