Les propriétaires de cet appartement  situé dans un quartier prisé de Londres, souhaitaient une décoration qui leur rappelle leurs vacances sur l’île d’ Ibiza aux Baléares. Ils ont confié le chantier à Ben Stokes, fondateur de Kagu Interiors, et ce penthouse sous les toits de Clapham  ont pris les couleurs du sable des plages méditerranéennes. Le design intérieur basé sur le bois et les fibres naturelles a transformé ce lieu en un lumineux havre de paix urbain. Photo : Jody Stewart

The owners of this flat, located in a popular area of London, wanted a decoration that would remind them of their holiday on the island of Ibiza in the Balearic Islands. They entrusted the work to Ben Stokes, founder of Kagu Interiors, and this penthouse under the roofs of Clapham has adopted the colours of the sand of the Mediterranean beaches. La rénovation et l’agrandissement d’un appartement par un cabinet d’architecture

Conçue par le cabinet d’architecture  Studio Hallett Ike,la rénovation de cet appartement situé dans une ancienne maison victorienne à Londres a consisté en une refonte totale de l’existant et une extension à l’arrière sur le jardin, qui a été bardée en mélèze selon la technique du bois brûlé. De deux-pièces, l’appartement a été transformée en un trois pièces, baptisée ER Residence,  et dispose désormais de deux chambres à coucher et d’un salon avec une cuisine en enfilade donnant sur le jardin.  Madeleine Ike et Jonty Hallett,les jeunes architectes qui ont créé leur entreprise,  et qui sont également les propriétaires de cet appartement  mis en vente chez CLARKE, ont ensuite réalisé une décoration design, au minimalisme inspirée par la Scandinavie

Renovation and extension of a flat by an architectural firm
Designed by the Studio Hallett Ike architectural firm, the renovation of this flat in a former Victorian house in London consisted of a complete overhaul of the existing building and an extension to the rear garden, which was clad in larch using the burnt wood technique. The one-bedroom flat was converted from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom flat, called ER Residence, and now has two bedrooms and a living room with a kitchen adjoining it and overlooking the garden. Madeleine Ike and Jonty Hallett, the young architects who set up their company and who are also the owners of this flat for sale at CLARKE, then created a design decoration with a minimalism inspired by Scandinavia.

La designer d’intérieur Cathy Emmins, a su trouver un bel équilibre pour la décoration de cet appartement situé au dernier étage d’un immeuble du quartier de Whitechapel à Londres, un penthouse au style industriel chic, qui avait besoin d’une rénovation. Un studio dans le jardin idéal pour le télétravail

Avec sa décoration sombre et réussie, ses deux chambres et son jardin, cet appartement londonien située dans une maison ancienne ne manque pas d’atouts. Mais un des principaux est sans doute le bureau séparé installé au fond de la parcelle, un lieu idéal pour le télétravail ou simplement pour lire et s’isoler au calme. Soigneusement rénové, cet appartement a conservé de beaux éléments d’origine, mariés à une décoration contemporaine et du mobilier aux lignes intemporelles. Les couleurs peu banales rendent ce lieu très chaleureux, comme un petit cocon familial en ville.

Dans une belle rue bordée de grands arbres, il a été agrandit à l’arrière avec une extension vitrée très lumineuse qui donne sur le jardin où les pavés donnent du charme à cet espace arboré en pleine ville. Sa décoration contemporaine, ses volumes ouverts en font un lieu très actuel.

Set in a beautiful wood-lined street, it has been extended at the rear with a bright glass extension overlooking the garden where the cobblestones give charm to this garden space in the heart of the city.
