Cuisine ouverte et mezzanine dans un appartement de 45m2

Pour conserver l’impression de volume dans cet appartement de 45m², un grand studio, tous les volumes ont été conservés ouverts, comme la cuisine qui adopte un style scandinave assumé. L’impression d’espace est également dû à la grande hauteur sous plafond, qui a permis d’installer une mezzanine qui sert de petit coin détente très lumineux avec ses fenêtres de toit. Le lit est installé dans la grande entrée, et donne une intimité bienvenue à la partie chambre.

To preserve the impression of volume in this 45m² flat, a large studio, all the volumes have been kept open, like the kitchen which adopts a Scandinavian style. The impression of space is also due to the high ceilings, which have made it possible to install a mezzanine that serves as a small, very luminous relaxation area with its roof windows. The bed is installed in the large entrance hall, and gives a welcome intimacy to the bedroom area.

Décoration de style japandi dans un appartement de 38m2

Le style Japandi est réellement celui qui fait parler de lui en ce moment. Mélange de décoration scandinave et d’esprit japonais, il associe les couleurs neutres, les textures naturelles comme le bois clair et la terre cuite, les tons de gris et de beige, voire de rose pâle à des espaces épurés, où le noir vient en touches dynamiser l’ensemble. Dans cet appartement de 38m², ni un vrai studio avec sa chambre en alcôve, ni un vrai deux-pièces, c’est ce design qui a été choisi, et qui est véritablement  adapté à une petite surface pour la faire paraître plus grande et agréable à vivre pour les amateurs de lieu épuré et  relaxant.

The Japandi style is really the one that is making the news at the moment. A mix of Scandinavian decoration and Japanese spirit, it combines neutral colours, natural textures such as light wood and terracotta, shades of grey and beige, even pale pink, with refined spaces, where black comes in touches to energise the whole. In this 38m² flat, neither a real studio with its alcove bedroom, nor a real one-bedroom, it is this design that has been chosen, and which is truly adapted to a small surface area to make it appear larger and more pleasant to live in for lovers of a refined and relaxing place.

Cette tiny house est installée dans un ancien bus scolaire

C’est un étudiant en architecture, Caleb Brackney, qui a réalisé pour lui-même cette tiny house au look rustique, dans un ancien bus scolaire, d’un modèle typique des USA. Il en a fait l’acquisition sur  Facebook Marketplace en février 2020 pour 3 000 $ et a dépensé 7 000 $ supplémentaires pour le transformer (découvrez la vidéo en cliquant sur le lien orange au dessus). Appelée Roamer Bus, il est décoré en couleurs chaudes qui permettent d’obtenir une lumière agréable . Un générateur solaire et deux panneaux solaires fournissent de l’électricité et Caleb a 190 litres d’eau douce à bord. Un bel exercice d’architecture intérieure non?

This tiny house is set up in a former school bus.
It was an architecture student, Caleb Brackney, who designed for himself this tiny house with a rustic look, in a former school bus, of a typical American model. He bought it on Facebook Marketplace in February 2020 for $3,000 and spent another $7,000 to transform it (watch the video by clicking on the orange link above). Called the Roamer Bus, it is decorated in warm colours that provide a pleasant light . A  solar power generator and two solar panels provide electricity and Caleb has 190 litres of fresh water onboard. A nice exercise in interior design, isn’t it?

Une tiny house de 23m2 nichée au cœur d’une forêt en Australie

Si la tiny house de Matt et Lisa de Tailored Tiny Co ne fait que 23m2 au sol, sa grande hauteur lui donne un volume qui permet de ne pas s’y sentir à l’étroit, tout comme ses larges ouvertures vitrées. Sa façade noire au design contemporain lui donne l’allure d’une petite maison container, et bien qu’elle soit sur roues, elle est reliée à l’eau courante et à l’électricité. Le couple l’a construit au cœur de la forêt australienne, où les eucalyptus sont en nombre, avec l’aide de quelques amis, et même si elle est petite, elle possède une cuisine et une salle de bain de taille conventionnelle. Une chambre d’amis est installée en hauteur, et sert à s’isoler quand on le souhaite si aucun visiteur n’est présent.

If the tiny house of Matt and Lisa from Tailored Tiny Co is only 23m2 on the ground, its great height gives it a volume that makes it feel cramped, just like its large glass openings. Its black façade with a contemporary design gives it the look of a small container house, and although it is on wheels, it is connected to running water and electricity. The couple built it in the heart of the Australian forest, where there are many eucalyptus trees, with the help of a few friends, and although it is small, it has a conventionally sized kitchen and bathroom. A guest bedroom is set up high up, and is used as a place to isolate oneself when one wishes to do so if there are no visitors.

Un mini loft de 42m2 dans un ancien bâtiment industriel

Ce mini loft de 42m2 est installé dans un ancien bâtiment industriel suédois construit dans les années 1930. Complètement transformé par le cabinet d’architecture réputé Jordens, cet immeuble en briques typique abrite désormais plusieurs appartements dont celui-ci. La hauteur sous plafond a été totalement exploitée par l’installation d’un escalier menant à une chambre en mezzanine. Sous cet escalier se place naturellement une cuisine qui en épouse la forme. Les deux hautes fenêtres sont suffisantes pour apporter la lumière à ce lieu où les plantes vertes du propriétaire se trouvent à leur aise. La décoration sobre est basée sur des classiques suédois comme les étagères String qui occupent tout un pan de mur.

This 42m2 mini loft is housed in a former Swedish industrial building dating back to the 1930s. Completely transformed by the renowned Jordens architectural firm, this typical brick building now houses several flats including this one. The high ceilings have been fully exploited by the installation of a staircase leading to a bedroom on the mezzanine floor. Beneath the staircase is a kitchen which naturally follows the shape of the staircase. The two high windows are enough  to bring light to this place where the owner’s green plants are at their ease. The sober decoration is based on Swedish classics such as the String shelves that take up a whole section of the wall.
